Keep in mind that there is nothing wrong about wanting to look better than you do today. You surely are beautiful in your own skin, size and shape but you can still do a lot to enhance the beauty that you already have. One way to improve is to at least increase a few inches more on your chest size. This particular goal is fascinating among women because bigger breasts can dramatically enhance your appearance as a woman. No wonder many ladies are spending thousands of dollars just to get the right breast size that they deem fitting for their body. However, there are dangers and risks involved in going through breast implants. Some of these side effects can do long-term harm in your health. Here are some of these troubles that you might get into if you decide to undergo this surgical operation.

1.    Displacement – you need to be aware that your implants may not stay where your doctor put them. The implants can still move after surgery and cause displacement which can happen any time and at any direction. Just imagine how awkward that circumstance can be.

2.    Leaking and Breaking - there are two types of implants namely saline and silicone implants. These implants can break or leak and cause either side of your breasts to go back to its original size prior to the surgery. Saline implants cannot pose real harm to your body but needs replacement to get the original shape back. Silicone implants on the other hand cannot be absorbed by your body and can cause greater damage. Even the smallest amount of silicone leak can result to internal scarring that requires surgery.

3.    Rippling and Wrinkling – there is a possibility that you will detect ripples or wrinkles on your breasts no matter how natural and normal looking your breasts after the surgery is completed. This happens because the saline in your implants is shifting around are results your skin to become loose because it has nothing to fill it with.

4.    Infection – although surgeons claim that only 1% of implant surgeries can cause infections, it is very likely that you will encounter this problem especially if you are not cautious for the first 2-3 months after your surgery. You need to take extra care because the breast implants cannot be replaced and removed until after six months from surgery. Antibiotics will work if the infection is not serious.
